I cannot stop playing this song. The whole album is really good, actually. (And, according to Spotify and Amazon, it’s “Trobules,” not “Troubles,” but correct me if I’m wrong.)

I’ve never been a huge St. Vincent fan, but she’s warming up to me with this song. The video’s pretty awesome, too.

Kind of obsessed with this song right now. Happy Hump Day!

Though the band has been performing this song live since 2009 (lead singer Zach Condon wrote it when he was 17!), it’s out as a new single. I love this band. One of these days I’ll get to see them live.

It’s Friday and I’m thinking a video from the Eurythmics is in order.

A friend of mine at work sent me the link to this video this morning. I mean, I already knew that David Byrne was a musical genius, but damn, this song is good.

It’s been a crazy week! I started a new job, which I absolutely love. But having worked from home for a while, it’s taking me a little time to get used to a regular schedule.

Anyway, here’s a really cool video from Kaada, a musical artist and composer from Stavanger, Norway. I have a couple of his albums, but I honestly haven’t listened to them that much. That is, until tonight. This song is from the album, “Thank You For Giving Me Your Valuable Time.”

Sorry, I couldn’t resist posting this video. I’ve never seen this particular performance by Nick Cave. It’s incredible!

Hope you’re having a great weekend!

Yes, I know this song was featured in an iPod ad, but dammit, it’s catchy. It’s been in my head all day and now I’m going to put this little music bug in your ear. I especially like the Boogie Nights-esque organ that they use in the song.

Happy Friday!

Hope you’re having a great week so far!
